Kip King is one of the original Groundlings, the well-known Hollywood improv group. He has been a working actor and comedian since 1953. He has appeared in over 400 movies, television shows and commercials including 8 years as the voice of Tailor Smurf on NBC; 5 years as the Continental Yogurt Man; and 5 years as the spokesman for V-8 Juice. Kip started working during the golden age of television and was privileged to be a part of the last few years of the studio system in Hollywood, working with such luminaries as: Cary Grant, Audrey Hepburn, Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward, Lana Turner, Jack Benny, Jerry Lewis, Red Skelton, and the legendary Stan Laurel. He has entered the new age of INTERNET entertainment with his co-starring role as Finn in the series, Royal Standard. In addition, Kip has been teaching his powerful on-camera improv techniques since 1981 with his students ranging from children to teens to adults and seniors. Students have enjoyed tremendous success as a result of his classes. |
